We started celebrating Halloween one day earlier this year, as on the night of actual Halloween we were visiting friends, who expect a baby soon. Dawid loved the idea of a baby in a tummy, and asked my friend if she could open her mouth so he can see the baby:) He was gentle and very responsible – when explained he will take care of his younger baby-friend, he agreed happily.

He starts to like PC’s and entertains himself drawing in Paint – the option of changing colours of different figures seemed to be his favourite. It is no longer an issue to use a mouse or a laptop pad;)

Oh, and we forgot that Granny asked about our size – we are 120 cm tall and 25 kgs. Hugs!

The fair is back in town so we are spending most of the weekend out in the market square:) Yesterday we came home for a while and I heard:
D: Mummmy, you are sooooo brave!:)
S: Really?!
D: Yeaaah!
S: Well, thank you! (hug, kiss)
D: Can I go to the fair now?
Dawid became very strong, so whenever faced with difficult situations he can handle them pretty well, and now I understand why his teacher told me is balanced enough to be mistaken for a child with both parents. We went to the library yesterday to pick up some books. Dawid stayed in the kids corner picking up his books, and I went to the fiction bookshelf a bit away, still heard him talking to the librarian lady, who was helping him choose books. When she mentioned:
L: And now you can go and find your mum or dad to take the books out, ok?
D: I haven’t got a dad, (with a calm, informative tone) but I will ask my mom.
L: You don’t? Oh well, I am sure mum will help:)
It’s amazing to see how well he handled it!
Later at home, while I was vacuum cleaning:
D: I think we need to clean the kitchen floor too, mum!
S: Oh, well, if you say so I might consider doing it there too;) Will you help me?
D: Yes, I will, but you are soooo good at it, mum! (cheeky smile)
Today in the morning he woke up and named his dog (current cuddly toy privileged to sleep with him) DONKER DONKSES, explaining dogs also need surnames!
I think this is it. Apart from that we are going to the nursery, loving it a lot, we have great friends – boys mainly – and we are changing a lot – into an independent boy, who has his opinion about everything, but sensitive one too. Everything can be discussed now, which makes mum a very proud parent;)
We would also like to thank you Granny Becky for lovely Bob the Bulider clothes, here is Dawid’s version of posing for Granny to ’show her the Bob’;) Thank you!

btw – this is the first post written with Dawid at my side, instructing me which photos to include;)

..is Dawid’s favorite. We all love it – Anty Anna is singing it when going to work, Uncle Javi is singing it when going to work, mum is singing it everywhere but the best is when we can both singing – works great if we are stuck in traffic:
‘Can we fix it? Yes, we can!!!’;)

S: Dawid, I think you need to brush your hair, it looks…(preparing to use ‘Becky’ argument to encourage him to do so – Becky is Dawid’s best friend)
D: No! Becky will not like it! (walks away)
(S stays shocked)

Last Friday, on the way to Blackpool we need to wait few hours for a car lift, so we decided to go to see Ice Age 3. Dawid is 3 too, so it’s a good coinsidence:)

It turned out to be 3D film! One more ‘3′ made it an unforgetible experience. Dawid loved the place, the film, the fact there was audience too.

As he calls it ’squirrel film’ was the hit of the weekend:) And glasses? Ah, it’s sunshine all the time so he still uses them:)
